Commercial masonry restoration work in an Omaha district
About

Owner-led masonry, the old way.

Omaha Masonry is run by Jesse, a hands-on mason with decades on the trowel. Small crew, high standards, and a name that has to hold up job after job.

Some masonry companies are sales operations with crews attached. Omaha Masonry is the other kind: the owner who quotes your job is the same guy checking the joints before the crew packs up.

Jesse has spent decades doing this work across the Omaha metro, alongside Josh, his right hand and a mason of the same vintage. Between them is a career's worth of brick, block, and stone: chimney rebuilds, historic restoration downtown, retaining walls on half the metro's slopes, and, in recent years, a steady stream of stone veneer repairs on the newer homes west of town.

That last one has become something of a specialty. When the manufactured stone on newer Elkhorn, Gretna, and Bennington homes started letting go, homeowners found out that not many companies knew how to fix it properly. We did the work of learning the product cold, including picking up color blending techniques directly from a manufacturer's field rep who showed up on one of our Bennington jobs. Now it is one of the things we are known for.

How we run jobs

We keep the operation small on purpose. A small crew that answers to the owner means the standard does not slip when nobody is watching, because somebody is always watching. It also means we are honest about scheduling: we would rather tell you a real date than promise a fake one.

Estimates are free and plainspoken. We will tell you what is causing the problem, what actually needs fixing now, and what can safely wait. A lot of our work comes from referrals, which only happens when people trust what you told them the first time.

Recognized work

Omaha Masonry received the Omaha World-Herald award for best concrete, masonry & brick installation. We are proud of that, and prouder of the repeat customers and referrals behind it. You can read what homeowners say on our reviews page, or see the work for yourself in the photo gallery.
